Do you ever 'think' ........?
What if a vehicle with NO BRAKES killed someone you loved? A child? A grandchild?
What if the vehicle manufacturer KNEW about the BRAKE FAILURE and simply refused to act?
I approached an intersection regularly used by school kids ....those attending the Nichols Middle School.
I put my foot on the BRAKE PEDAL...the pedal went to the floor and a dashboard warning light came on.
There were NO BRAKES! The vehicle did NOT stop.
600 miles on the odometer. Less than a month old.
No one was on the road as the NEW Toyota glided through the intersection.
What if your child was in front of my vehicle? Road kill????
Route 44 Toyota didn't care.
The vehicle was towed. The BRAKE FAILURE denied not once, but three times.
If your child was struck, does that matter?
Toyota????
For almost a year, we have anguished over the potential....what if there had been a person, a child, someone's loved one in front of that Toyota when the BRAKES FAILED?
Route 44 Toyota denied the BRAKE FAILURE.....refused to REPAIR THE BRAKES.
This is the same way Toyota addressed the Sudden Acceleration Problems [SUA] that killed so many innocent victims.
SPLAT!
