Puppies are not toys

More than a million pets each year are euthanized.

Many are owner surrenders, strays tossed out on the streets.

Rescue groups are working to stop the abuse and neglect.

If you're considering adding a furry friend to your family, please don't patronize a puppy mill - consider adopting from a High Kill Shelter to save a life.

Puppies are not toys. And you should never, ever shop at a pet store that sells puppies. You see, most pet store puppies come from puppy mills—you know, those large scale breeding operations where dogs live in horrible conditions and never receive love. Well, every time you buy anything from a pet store that sells puppies, you're actually supporting this very cruel industry.
