Do we have to destroy everything?

If you've traveled through this area, don't you have to wonder?
Some places are just too wild to drill. Southern Utah's Desolation Canyon proposed wilderness area is one of them. On Friday, the Wilderness Society and a coalition of conservation groups filed a lawsuit challenging Interior's decision to authorize Gasco Energy to drill 1,300 wells in the Desolation Canyon region. 215 of those wells would be in the proposed Desolation Canyon wilderness.
