I have a friend with a Prius ..... + 200,000 miles on the odometer.
[Shhh! I believe she's in love with her car!]
Much like other Toyota Prius owners, she has experienced brake noise.
The dealer from which she purchased her vehicle took the brakes apart, provided a loaner during the process....shall I include that the owner of the dealership called her to make sure she was satisfied?
You know these typical females.....she was concerned about her safety, as well as the safety of others.
An engineer explained the Toyota design flaw that has yet to be corrected judging from the numerous complaints posted elsewhere.
[The brakes make noise after the vehicle has sat. The solution? Put the car in neutral for 5 seconds with your foot on the brake pedal. It shouldn't be necessary, but Toyota doesn't seem to correct their 'design flaws.']
The dealership's engineer assured her that her vehicle was safe, explained how to address Toyota's design flaw.
She asked the dealership's engineer to put it in writing that she was SAFE.
He did!
Maybe that's what I expected from Route 44 Toyota.
Maybe I expected Toyota to stand behind their cars.
Surely I never expected them to violate the law and my privacy by ILLEGALLY accessing my credit reports.
Maybe Route 44 Toyota should apologize.
It's not expected.
