TRUTH REVEALED: The oil and gas industry may dismiss anti-fracking activists, but it can't dismiss a longtime oil and gas engineer who helped develop ‪#‎fracking‬. That engineer, Anthony Ingraffea, has published a revealing op-ed in the New York Times admitting the dangerous truth behind "clean natural gas." http://ow.ly/nqpCh

According to Ingraffea, the biggest problem with drilling or fracking for natural gas is that it releases methane - a greenhouse gas that traps much more heat than carbon dioxide. So any benefit natural gas has over coal is completely outweighed when you factor in the devastating effects of methane.
