How could you?

There is no way to say this any better....YOU MADE A COMMITMENT!

Some people think dogs don't feel emotion! huh!
How about this dog clinging to her owner's leg as he dumps her at the shelter!

Donna was an owner surrender. Her owner was dragging her in to HCAC and she was hanging on to his boot and pant leg (like a child does to his parent). I took this picture because it broke my heart:(. She couldn't say it any louder..." Please don't leave me!"
Donna is about 2 years and around 50 pounds. She was owner surrendered on 9/4 due to too many pets. She is shy in her kennel, but blossoms outdoors. She is good with kids and other animals. She is friendly and affectionate, a real people lover! she is HOOD COUNTY TEXAS!!!!!!...

**UPDATE** Confirmed - SAFE ----- THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!

(Please Note) This shelter currently IS Full and could use some help so if you are still willing to adopt PLEASE visit them - we may not have photos of the rest of the dogs but there are many more "Donna's " there that NEED you :(

The next time you hear someone saying they have to re-home and they are thinking about taking their dog to a shelter PLEASE show them this photo and make sure they KNOW their baby UNDERSTANDS what is going on!!! :( I wish this photo would be plastered at every Animal Control Facility in the United States - Maybe just maybe people would understand then-

URGENT---- Do we have any members in TEXAS? (Specifically) Hood County? I realize this is NOT an Ohio dog but I could NOT turn my back- This baby is an OWNER surrender and YES that is her "dad" she is CLINGING TO and BEGGING not to throw her away----- I am absolutely OUTRAGED and HEARTBROKEN for this little one------ Here is her story (AND) information- written by a loving soul who witnessed this "dumping"
