Save A LIfe! Any LAB Rescues?

Angels for Animals Network shared Frederick Wright's photo.
To say this to most of you is preaching to the choir. But please share with your "friends" who brag proudly about where they "bought" their puppy.

Most animals in shelters will be euthanized. Most of them were someone's pet, a family member, simply dumped or abandoned, many left at High Kill Shelters. By the time you read this, many will have been euthanized.

If you're considering a furry family members, please consider shelters and rescues first.

Adoption and transportation information available on links or here:

Transporting Rescued Animals - Saving Lives!

Distance should not hinder your decision.

Please support Spay & Neuter programs to reduce this tragedy.

Check back during the day. Will add as posts appear.

Long heartbreaking day...
Walking one animal control on euthanasia day & having to choose who leaves with me.
Running to another animal control to pick up other dogs that were already being held for me, coming home with a van full, 29 dogs will live on & have a beautiful chance at New Lives ahead. I have a 11 more to pick up tomorrow, plus spay/neuter day as well...
I'm thankful to have my dear friend & photographer with me today to help document & tell a story that needs to be told.
I pray for the day, the needless killing ends...

Chewie became critical earlier today and we had to move him from a regular vet to Georgia Veterinary Specialists. Our volunteer had to race him there and his heart stopped right when she got there. We had vet staff waiting outside for him and they were able to give him an injection and resuscitate him and bring him back. He had to have an immediate blood transfusion, and he is still alive because of their fast life saving work. He is still having gastrointestinal bleeding and even with ultrasounds they haven't found the cause. We are hoping with supportive care he will pull through and his stomach lining will start to heal. Any help towards his care is appreciated donations can be made directly to GVS under Chewbacca "Chewie" under Dr. Pittmans care, Call (404) 459-0903. We also have set up a fundraiser and donations can be made to the link below. Thank you everyone for your support. www.youcaring.com/chewietheyorkie
