This is BLUE ID#A002842 Redlands Animal Shelter So. Cal. (909) 798-7644 Blue was shot by the police when they came into his home to arrest his owners in 2009. H...e came into the shelter and with the help of many people, we raised money and he had surgery to have his leg amputated. He was then adopted by a great family with kids. He has lived with them for 3 1/2 years now, and he was surrendered back to the shelter on 08/27/2013. His family lost their home. He is now about 7 years old. We have to find him something. Please, let's get him a new home to live out the rest of his life. His previous owner said he isn't great with other male dogs. He does not get along w/small dogs/cats either.(possibly okay w/large female dog) Any help is greatly appreciated. The shelter is very full and there are way too many pits right now. Blue is a 7 y/o neutered male, gray Pit Bull Terrier, Tri-Pod. Fees are: $35.00 to Adopt or free transfer to 501(c)3.*** Please note that the *3,000 shares were from when Blue 1st came to us at the shelter after having been shot in his leg. Everyone pulled together and raised funds for his amputation in 2009. He was adopted, and is now back in the shelter, owner surrender due to home loss. ***
