'Scooter' Brown reveals Koch Puppetry

In Massachusetts, at least 'Scooter' Brown pretended to be bi-partisan, although his votes betrayed the pretense.

As he invades New Hampshire, the Koch Puppet is clearly revealed.

Brown about to launch a bid to return to the U.S. Senate

Koch brothers pour in $3/4 million to help him so far

Despite recent polls which show New Hampshire U.S. Senator Shaheen with a 13 point lead over him, the New York Times reports that former U.S. Senator Scott Brown is getting ready to announce another run for the U.S. Senate, but in New Hampshire instead of Massachusetts.

The newspaper goes on to say that he intends to open an exploratory committee and run this year for the Senate from New Hampshire to unseat U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, a freshman Democrat who is seeking reelection this fall.

That's Joe Quigley's cartoon today on the right, see here.

The Union Leader reports Brown has given two large checks to the N.H. Republican party, $29,000 and $15,000, and is calling GOP activists in that state to gage their support.

Koch brothers at work

The Koch brother have already spent $700,000 on television ads against Ms. Shaheen. New Hampshire Democrats issued a statement late Thursday suggesting themes they would be using if Brown becomes a candidate.

A NH Democratic party statement said, “Scott Brown is for Scott Brown and the powerful interests that back him, not New Hampshire. New Hampshire isn’t going to let Scott Brown and his big oil buddies like the Koch brothers buy themselves a Senate seat.”
