This and that.....

We always hear about the bad...
So today I'm going to tell you about the good:)
As animal lovers, it's a never ending news feed, of pleas & urgent that you see on Facebook, every day of the year.
I want to tell you about an animal control, that does everything they can and goes above & beyond to Save the Lives of the homeless pets that end up in their shelter. Robertson County Animal Control is in Springfield, Tennessee. It is run by two guys, Kevin and Tim, who are a pleasure to know & work with. We had 9 new arrivals from them today & even though Tim is going to be mad at me for taking this photo, I just couldn't help myself. He Loves each & every dog & this is a sight I see, every time they bring dogs to my shelter.
If you live local to the shelter, please volunteer & Adopt! They cannot be successful without community support.
Stop by Robertson County Animal Control & **LIKE** their page please, they are doing all they can to Save & not euthanize.https://www.facebook.com/…/Robertson-County…/203715703038037

Industry illegally injected about 3 billion gallons of Fracking wastewater into central California drinking-water and farm-irrigation aquifers, the state found after the United States Environmental Protection Agency ordered a review of possible contamination.
According to documents recently obtained by the Center for Biological Diversity, the California State Water Resources Board found that at least nine of the 11 hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, wastewater injection sites that were shut down in July upon suspicion of contamination were in fact riddled with toxic fluids used to unleash energy reserves deep underground. The aquifers, protected by state law and the federal Safe Water Drinking Act, supply quality water in a state currently suffering unprecedented drought.
But... come on...Fracking doesn't do any harm.

It's time we got serious about pulling our money out of incarceration and putting it into systems that foster healthy communities.

U.S. forests are home to countless species of plants and animals unique to North America. Yet, they are being cut down and sent to Europe for fuel, increasing carbon pollution and destroying essential native eco-systems.
Help us send a message to European leaders: our forests
aren’t fuel! TAKE ACTION: http://on.nrdc.org/1oNqcgJ

Burning trees for electricity creates more carbon pollution than coal —hurting our health, environment, and climate. But misguided policies in the European Union are driving demand for U.S. forest wood. Tell EU leaders - save our Southern...
