I was Beau Biden's roommate in Iraq

VoteVets circulated the email below to honor the memory of Beau Biden:

While assigned to the 261st Signal BDE, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Beau Biden, who was the Attorney General of the state of Delaware.

As the unit was called up to go to Iraq in support of Global War on Terrorism, Beau and I became closer throughout training and were roommates throughout our tour in Iraq. You can imagine what you learn about, and from, a person while deployed. The friendship and bonds you build are strong and last forever.

What made me respect Beau was his character and the fact that he was approachable, down to earth, and treated each and every person he came in contact with same amount of respect. This a person, a man, who is in a position of great authority but did not allow it change who he is was a person.

Beau's loss is devastating, but it doesn't surprise me that even in his passing, he'll continue to give back to others and make a difference through his foundation.

Please join me in honoring Beau Biden's memory through your contribution to the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children.

Thank you for supporting Beau's family and friends during this trying time. I know that they'll all appreciate your generous support of his foundation.

Rest in Peace Battle!
