Ahhhh...Congressman Joe Barton Texas Wack-A-Ding

Please remember that we are to thank the heavily Koch-funded Jackasses.

Ya wanna vote for a candidate based of advertising [propaganda] ?

Some of this insanity I attempted to preserve on my blog and then delete from my memory because of the sheer stupidity.

On my blog is a search feature in the upper left hand corner the retrieves some of what the Dim Wits offered.

For the sake of my sanity, it's not all there - who can stand this?

Remember the Michelle Bachmann light bulb thingey?

The Republican Wack-A-Dings protested this issue AFTER manufacturers re-tooled their production and major retailers supported it - Lowes, Home Depot.

[Trivia for the sake of those in doubt: 15% of your household energy is for lighting. We've had CFLs for years. Replacing just 3 'always on' CFLs with LEDs saved us $15 the first month unanticipated. Why would anyone oppose saving Americans $$$?]

From the post below:

Turns out that some members of Congress think American freedom is at stake. Congressmen like Texas Congressman Joe Barton, who appolgized to BP last year for what he termed a $20 billion “shakedown,” claim the light bulb energy saving legislation is dangerous and expensive.

But Barton doesn't have his bulb screwed on right. Studies show the legislation will save Americans up to $200 on energy bills each year and reduce US energy consumption by more than $10 billion a year. Not only do most members of Congress support the legislation, but Americans support the switch because it makes economic sense. And it will create jobs in the process. How’s that for deficit reduction?

My sincerest apologies that Republicans are this stupid!

Dear Texas - Please! You sent this jackass to congress to vote on issues that are important to ALL Americans?

No wonder you think Obama is invading Texas!

It's time for you to fund public education....beginning with those you elect.

Another "genius" from TexASS...
