RSN: Roger Goodell vs. Tom Brady: The Ultimate Revenge-of-Mediocrity Story

DEFLATEGATE?

Have we had enough?

Football is a highly profitable, tax payer subsidized GAME.

It's EXPENSIVE ENTERTAINMENT, FOLKS!

Guv Scott Walker slashed social programs to subsidize a kids' game...where's the protest?

Just a few of the comments:

I think this is bait and switch to deflect anyone noticing how my much sports team owners make and how the sport franchises are a form of tax-exempt monopoly and while they charge thru the nose to the home team ticket buyers those same ticket buyers pay for those stadiums with their tax dollars.
I mean who are the real criminals in this bunch!?

Who the hell cares. We are talking about a game here...just a game. Doesn't matter whether Brady or anyone else plays....or if no one plays. It's just a game mostly played by children.

Yeah, and what's with this "professional sports" business anyway? That's an oxymoron on a par with "SPORT UTILITY vehicle," which Click and Clack pointed out some 30 years ago.

Do you not care when a governor – like Mr Walker – makes major cuts in social programs only to give $250,000,000 (or $450,000,000 according to some reports) to sports teams and their owners? I mean, after all, it's just a kids' game.

I wouldn't give a dime of taxpayer's money to professional sports of any hue. If owners want new stadiums, let them build them with their own money.
