That being kind and honest, wanting peace and social justice, being willing to change your views when you believe you were wrong, and choosing your principles over power is NOT "weakness." It's a special kind of strength that most of us lack.
Thank you for building houses instead of empires, thank you for showing us that not all devout Christians are mean, and thank you for being a breath of fresh air in the too-often dank, cheerless and venal corridors of power.
