A Reuters witness at the scene of the attack in the Abs district of Hajja province said medics could not immediately evacuate the wounded because war planes continued to fly over the area and emergency workers feared more bombings. "The location of the hospital was well known, and the hospital's GPS coordinates were repeatedly shared with all parties to the conflict, including the Saudi-led coalition," the aid group also known as Doctors Without Borders, said in a statement. It said one of its staff members was among those killed when an aerial bomb hit the hospital compound, also killing 10 patients. "This is the fourth attack against an MSF facility in less than 12 months," the statement said.

Bulk data collection by British spy agencies vital to prevent terrorism in UK, report finds | 19 Aug 2016 | The bulk collection of personal data by British spy agencies is vital in preventing terrorist attacks, an independent review of draft security legislation has found. David Anderson QC, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, concluded that laws giving MI5, MI6 and GCHQ the right to gather large volumes of data from members of the public had a "clear operational purpose". The main findings were welcomed by the prime minister, Theresa May, but have prompted concern from Labour and privacy campaigners.
US-funded pandemics: UN says it was involved in introducing cholera to Haiti | 19 Aug 2016 | The United Nations is saying for the first time that it was involved in the introduction of cholera to Haiti and needs to do "much more" to end the suffering of those affected, estimated at more than 800,000 people. Researchers say there is ample evidence that cholera was [purposefully?] introduced to Haiti's biggest river in October 2010 by inadequately treated sewage from a U.N. peacekeeping base. The United Nations has never accepted responsibility, and has answered lawsuits on behalf of victims in U.S. courts by claiming diplomatic immunity.

'Minor' radiation leak in New York's FitzPatrick nuclear plant has gone unfixed for 4 years | 16 Aug 2016 | (Scriba, NY) The owner of FitzPatrick nuclear plant [Entergy Corp.] has allowed highly radioactive waste to leak into a contained area of the facility for at least four years, a safety violation that poses no risk to the public but might make it more difficult to decontaminate the site after the reactor closes. The problem was cited in the most recent quarterly inspection report by federal safety regulators. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory [sic] Commission said the accumulation of spilled radioactive waste in the basement of a building at FitzPatrick is of "very low safety significance'' [!?!] because it occurred in a locked, highly shielded area that is already highly radioactive.
WHO Manual Directing 'Authorities' on How to Respond to Vaccine-Deniers in Public --The document centers on how to address 'science denialism' for health authorities in a public venue or discussion. | 18 Aug 2016 | The endlessly increasing vaccine push on the public, at the behest of pharmaceutical companies, can be looked at as nothing more than a psychological operation (PSYOP). From the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) comes the 2016 Best Practice Guidance 1st Edition: How to Respond to Vocal Vaccine Deniers in Public. From this guide, parents and communities will understand how to see through the simplistic messaging maneuvers and counter the ongoing public PSYOP. The WHO's guiding document opens on page one with the following statement: "This guidance document provides basic broad principles for a spokesperson of any health authority on how to respond to vocal vaccine deniers. The suggestions are based on psychological research on persuasion, on research in public health, communication studies and on WHO risk communication guidelines."
Vaccine quackery bombshell: Key studies cited to 'prove' vaccines are safe were funded almost entirely by vaccine manufacturers | 09 Aug 2016 | In this critical review of the scientific literature on vaccines, ANH-USA and Brian Hooker carefully scrutinize the gross scientific flaws and blatant fin-ncial conflicts of interests that undermine the most commonly cited scientific studies which "prove" vaccines don't cause autism. In a startling percentage of these studies, the "scientists" were either directly funded by vaccine manufacturers who stood to profit from vaccine safety whitewashing or served as highly paid expert witnesses to defend vaccine makers against lawsuits. What we really see in this critical review is a systemic pattern of scientific fraud, criminal corruption and the complete abandonment of research ethics in the relentless quest to "prove" vaccines are safe (and thereby sell more of them to more vaccine victims).
Princeton professor shows how easy it is to hack an election in just 7 minutes | 08 Aug 2016 | A professor from Princeton University and a graduate student just proved electronic voting machines in the U.S. remain astonishingly vulnerable to hackers -- and they did it in under eight minutes. In fact, Professor Andrew Appel and grad student Alex Halderman took just seven minutes to break into the authentic Sequoia AVC Advantage electronic voting machine Appel purchased for $82 online -- one of the oldest models, but still in use Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia, Politico reported. After Halderman picked the hulking, 250-pound machine's lock in seven seconds flat, Appel wrested its four ROM chips from a circuit board -- an easy feat, considering the chips weren't soldered in place.

Police discredit Ryan Lochte's robbery story, say swimmers owe Rio an apology | 18 Aug 2016 | Brazilian police Thursday accused swimming star Ryan Lochte of fabricating his story of being held up along with three of his U.S. Olympic teammates by armed assailants. But the authorities also acknowledged a gun was pulled on the foursome by a security guard early Sunday at a Rio de Janeiro gas station, where the swimmers apparently damaged property at the end of a late-night excursion. The police statement contradicting Lochte's account, along with the decision by Brazilian authorities to prevent his three fellow swimmers from leaving the country, threatened to overshadow the Rio Games and what has been a stellar performance by U.S. athletes..."No robbery was committed against these athletes," Fernando Veloso, chief of the Rio de Janeiro police investigative division, said during a packed news conference Thursday afternoon. "They were not victims of the crimes they claimed."
