Campaign Of Violence And Intimidation Against Sanders Uncovered

Bernie Sanders revealed that shots were fired into his Nevada campaign office and that an “apartment housing complex my campaign staff lived in was broken into and ransacked.

The Vermont senator, who lost his Secret Services protection earlier this month, was also pictured with a bruise on his face at the Democratic National Convention, prompting many to believe there has been a long running campaign of violence and intimidation against the Sanders campaign.
Sanders made the statement about the shooting and burglary in response to “criticisms made against my campaign organization.”
Here’s Sanders’s full statement:

It is imperative that the Democratic leadership, both nationally and in the states, understand that the political world is changing and that millions of Americans are outraged at establishment politics and establishment economics. The people of this country want a government which represents all of us, not just the 1 percent, super PACs and wealthy campaign contributors.

We get it. Vote for Hillary cause Trump would be suicide. We get it. But, please, can we stop with the accolades? Can we acknowledge we're being held hostage by this two-party system without developing Stockholm Syndrome? I'm not "with her" -- I never was and I have no reason to declare myself in support of her now. She's done nothing to endear herself to me save the fact that she's the only rational decision when contrasted with a flaming bigot. I'm not excited about a woman being nominated due to voter suppression and a lack of diversity in our political system. I'm not excited by canned feminist narratives that foist imperialist and colonialist agendas that hurt women in the third world. I'm not excited by a person, woman or otherwise, who stands to continue the legacy of Kissinger and Bush. I'm not fucking with her, I'm just not fucking with him. So, we didn't nominate the man who demonstrated fierce grace and conceded despite the elephant in the room: he drew larger crowds, would have won by a landslide if independents had been allowed to participate in the nominating process, and polls FAR better against Trump. Whatever, America. Just quit shoving this false narrative down my throat -- Amina Benaliouhaj, Norman, Oklahoma

I just got an email from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee asking me to sign a birthday card for President Obama. (44 is turning 55! Let’s surprise him with 1OO,OOO birthday wishes from his biggest fans! Will you help us make the President’s day?)
I know no one reads them, but this was my response:
Is this for real?? We have children across this country living in poverty, going hungry, college kids with a lifetime of debt, people who still can't get heath care or afford their meds, a war that never ends, veterans killing themselves at record rates, black people being murdered in cold blood on the streets, a planet that is dying faster than we imagined, rigged elections, two of the most unpopular candidates for president the country has ever seen, one crazy, the other a closet republican, and a mainstream media that can't tell the truth about any of it. On top of it, the DNC tells me I'm an idiot millennial crybaby because my candidate lost, while I'm actually a 50+ mom with real concerns about my future, my country, my kids, my planet - and losing hope about all of it - and you have the freakin' nerve to ask me to sign a f*cking BIRTHDAY CARD for President Obama, a guy who spent the last 8 years in the most powerful office on earth doing a whole lot of nothing. Hey, you know what President Obama gets to do that I don't - go on a vacation. Screw you. Take me off this clueless email list.
