RSN: Nick Turse | Mission Impossible, Keeping Track of US Special Ops in Africa

It's Live on the HomePage Now:
Reader Supported News

WHY I AM MAKING A MONTHLY DONATION TO RSN - I'm retired and old enough to have seen a lot of political, economic and social upheaval. I killed my TV set years ago when it became obvious that the networks no longer employed real journalists interviewing real people on the ground, researching stories, and doing thoughtful analysis. Although I live on a fixed income, I think the quality of reporting that RSN culls and presents in one place is worth a monthly contribution. I've looked at a number of other alternative sites and this one seems to be the best. I hope more people will make a monthly contribution so RSN can put its energy into finding the news we need, rather than constant fundraising. Thanks for your work. / Patricia, RSN Reader-Supporter
Sure, I'll make a donation!

Turse writes: "Sometimes the real news is in the details - or even in the discrepancies. Take, for instance, missions by America's most elite troops in Africa."
