CounterCurrents: Point Of No Return: Earth Reaches 400ppm Threshold Permanently, America’s Epidemic Of Violence

Dear Friend,

September’s carbon dioxide output failed to drop below 400 parts per million (ppm) despite historically being the year’s low point for CO2 emissions, which means the Earth has very likely passed that symbolic climate threshold forever. We've reached a point of no return. When CC was launched in 2002 CO2 level was 373 ppm. Have we failed collectively? Do we have a future as a species? I think it's time to declare humans as an endangered species.

And also more stories from around the world.

If you don't mind, and if you think the content of this news letter is critical for the dignified living and survival of humanity and other species on earth, please forward it to your friends and spread the word. It's time for humanity to come together as one family! You can subscribe to our news letter here http://www.countercurrents.org/news-letter/.

America’s Epidemic Of Violence
by Dr Arshad M Khan

Multiple killings in the U.S. are becoming so common (almost daily in the week past) that they no longer attract top billing in the news.  Moreover,  incidents of road rage leading to murder are also increasing at an alarming rate.  On Friday, the Eisenhower Expressway in President Barack Obama’s adopted hometown of Chicago was closed for two hours in the morning because a man killed another driver and severely wounded a female passenger after an altercation.  Here’s the shocker:  a few hours after the expressway re-opened, there was yet another road-rage killing on it.

For the Times, international law is not an issue if a country has benevolent intentions, which the United States always does, naturally. No matter that the U.S. never obtained U.N. Security Council approval to wage war on Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, Iraq or Afghanistan.
