The following video should be watched, downloaded and shared with as many Americans as possible. The truth about the war in Syria must be told to Americans and the world.

And that's what I think of when I think about my fellow Americans and what they know about Syria, and what they think they know about the War, and the Syrian Government and the Syrian leadership, what they think they know, I'll argue, just ain't so."

To summarize the war in Syria:
1. It is NOT a Civil War, it is a war that places ALL Syrians against outside terrorist forces funded by the U.S., and their Middle Eastern and European allies.
2. Before the war, Syria was a vibrant and modern, secular nation in addition to being a cradle of civilization holding vast treasures of ancient architecture.
3. All Syrians are united regardless of religion. There is NO religious war in Syria. Violence perpetrated against Christians, is at the hands of terrorist militia groups funded by the U.S. and its allies.
4. The real reason for the war in Syria is tied to the petrodollar and oil pipelines. Those facts have been shielded by a complicit, corporate controlled media that can no longer be called news. U.S. and western media have promoted a false narrative that intentionally confuses and hides the truth.
5. The Assad government is popular and united with the people in opposition to the invasion.
6. Western, largely U.S. Sanctions, imposed against the Syrian people are designed to weaken the nation so that the terrorists can “win.” These sanctions are very harmful to innocent Syrian people who cannot obtain food, medicine or business essentials.
7. The Syrian war was part of the broader plan of imperialist conquest in the region beginning just after 9-11. The Bush administration issued memos that discussed toppling 7 nations in 5 years. Syria was one of them. Wars in the region have intensified under Obama. If Hillary Clinton is installed as the next president she will escalate the violence and possibly trigger the next world war.
8. All Americans should be outraged at what is occurring in their name.
9. All Americans must take action. Dissent is NOT treason. The Syrians cry out for your voice to join with theirs in opposition to the injustices being perpetrated. Their lives are in our hands! Will you allow their blood to run through your fingers? The safety of U.S. citizens is also at stake. Will we continue to allow corporate profits to dictate foreign policy? Our lives and our children’s lives are at stake. The world is in our hands. Will we summon the spirit of our revolutionary generation to throw off the bonds of tyranny?
