Donald Trump's Thugs: 3 major voter suppression operations

Last week, a senior Trump strategist bragged to a reporter that “we have three major voter suppression operations under way.”

What does this mean? When some African Americans and Latinos try to vote on November 8th, they will greeted by armed men with fake badges, intent on challenging every vote for the “wrong” candidate.

Trump has incited the kind of racist vigilantism not seen since the darkest days of the Civil Rights Era:

“We also have some teams going into the ghettos in Philly with 40s and weed to give out to the local residents, which we think will lead to more of them staying home. We have had success with this in the past.” (The Right Stuff Blog, speaking to Politico) 

If that kind of language disgusts you, we agree. But disgust won’t protect the polls.

This election is going to be very close. The stakes could not be higher. That’s why we are sending you this emergency appeal. We need to expand our presence in swing states if we are going to protect the vote.
