Veterans Day

VoteVets

Happy Veterans Day,

Originally, Veterans Day was meant to commemorate the official end of the fighting during World War I, but decades later it was updated to honor all veterans on "a day dedicated to world peace."

But here is the truth: with Trump in office, not only has nation's security has never been more imperiled, but his threats to privatize VA health care puts many more veterans at risk here at home.

One of the reasons I started VoteVets after returning from Iraq was because we need more progressive veterans in office. And over the years, we've helped elect some of your favorites like Tammy Duckworth, Ted Lieu, Seth Moulton and more.

This year, we have endorsed more than 20 candidates we're trying to help. But we can't do it alone:

The vast majority of our donations come from lots of people giving small amounts of money. We can't do it without you.

All my best,
Jon Soltz
