A MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort today will learn his punishment for financial fraud convictions in Alexandria, Virginia, federal district court. Manafort was convicted on eight counts of tax and bank fraud last year following a lengthy trial in the Eastern District of Virginia. He is already staring down the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison, but could face additional time from a separate criminal case in Washington, D.C. Ahead of the hearing, reporter Ellis Kim puts a spotlight on the top three things we're watching out for today.
