I know how national service works

When we work together, we can change our communities and our country.

That was the big idea behind City Year when I co-founded it more than 30 years ago from my law school dorm room.

We created City Year to empower folks at the grassroots level to find their voices and make a difference in their communities. Now, there are more than 3,000 City Year AmeriCorps members with a presence in 29 cities across America who have served more than 2 million children. We were honored that President Clinton chose City Year as the inspiration for his AmeriCorps program which has engaged more than 1.1 million people who have collectively served 1.7 billion hours.

I know how national service works.

I want to take that experience with me to Congress to make Washington work for the MA 4th District and our country again. Will you make a contribution to our campaign?
