The Right Whale is under attack

Image

Save the Right Whale, save the oceans.
I just read John’s email about the threats to the Atlantic Right Whale, and I wanted to reach out. I cannot believe that the Trump administration could open up our coastlines to oil drilling, roll back protections for endangered species, AND threaten whales and other ocean wildlife, all for corporate profits. It’s an unbelievably toxic plan, and I want to help stop it.
The reason I joined Greenpeace as an Oceans Ambassador is my love of oceans, and because I understand the threat that these amazing ecosystems are facing. We have to do something, and quick, before irreversible damage is done.
That’s why I support Greenpeace and the work that they do. They confront threats, call out bad actors — corporations and politicians putting profits over the planet — and they win. But only when all of us chip in to support all of their work. Will you join me by donating today?
I’m committed to doing everything I can to protect oceans today. Here’s what that means to me:
  • Resisting the Trump administration and holding the line against further damage.
  • Supporting scientific expeditions, like Greenpeace’s Pole to Pole mission to expose threats and bad actors who are destroying ocean ecosystems.
  • Helping create a movement of activists and changemakers who will advocate for stronger ocean protections — international ocean sanctuaries at the UN, an end to plastic pollution, and a moratorium on oil and gas drilling.
I am incredibly fortunate that my acting and career have given me a platform and a way to bring people together from everywhere. But that said, I’m just one person. It will take millions of us, acting together, to take care of this planet. Please help grow and fund this movement with a gift to Greenpeace today.
