The Trans-Pacific Partnership is a
hush-hush trade pact that threatens millions of Internet users’ rights to
connect and communicate.
Until recently the agreement had been
shrouded in secrecy. But now that WikiLeaks has released some of the
text,1 we know that the TPP would let corporations monitor our online
activities, cut off our Internet access, delete content and impose fines.
We must expose powerful corporations and
their allies in Washington before they undermine our online rights.
