Karl Rove is a sort of captain of special interest groups -- strategizing behind closed doors, coming up with ways to beat Democrats in races all across the country and flip the Senate come November.
And now, it looks like he’s about to unleash one of his greatest weapons: the super PAC.
American Crossroads is the Rove-backed super PAC that spent more than $100 million in 2012, including hundreds of thousands of dollars right here in New Mexico.

Karl Rove is no stranger to New Mexico. Since the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United back in 2010, his network of outside special interests has spent more than $1 million trying to influence elections in our state. And in the past, Rove has even recorded robocalls for one of my opponents.
If special interest backers like Rove and the Koch brothers get their way, it will be a disaster for middle class families all across the country.
