Senator Bob Corkier [R-TN]

Volkswagen America’s CEO must tell Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) to stop intimidating workers and threatening his constituents. Click here to sign our petition.

Workers at Volkswagen's Chattanooga plant are voting on whether to join a union. Today is Day 2 of 3 of the voting—and the company, to its credit, is neutral.

But Sen. Bob Corker is trying to intimidate the workers and swing the outcome of the election. He is outrageously making public claims that he has been “assured” Volkswagen will build a new product out of its Chattanooga plant—if the workers reject a union.

Sign the emergency petition to Volkswagen of America CEO Michael Horn: Tell Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) to stop intimidating workers and to reject Corker's outlandish claims. Click here to add your signature.

If Volkswagen had made such public threats themselves, it would be illegal under labor law.

We can’t let a Republican senator threaten his own constituents out of joining a union. Volkswagen America’s CEO must publicly reject and denounce such claims before the election is over. We will email him the petition signatures tonight, urging him to do just that.

Keep fighting,
