LOVE FOR A LIFETIME
Happy Valentine’s Day! Did you know that humans aren’t the only ones that find a mate for life? There are numerous species of animals that... find their one true love and stick with them for a lifetime. Eagles are one of them. They begin courtship in late January and work together to build their nest. About this time of year, they begin laying their eggs. Eagle pairs often winter near the nests and will not find another mate unless theirs passes away. Photo credit: Brian Hansen
