Dear Friend,
A 7.1 magnitude earthquake shook the Mexico City megalopolis at 1:14 in the afternoon on Tuesday, knocking down dozens buildings, leaving large clouds of dust and smoke across the horizon. The scenes of solidarity were immediate, as thousands rushed to join rescue efforts and other disaster management tasks, such as directing appeals of aid and recue on social media, organizing traffic, sharing transport and food, and helping the evacuation of hospitals.
Trumps speech at the UN was full of lies, historical amnesia, double standards and of course war mongering pure and simpe.
Snowden's EthiopiaLeaks tells a lot. But reading between the lines one thing is clear tiny Eritrea which is reeling under UN sanctions has nothing to do with terrorism.

Trump At The UN: Lies, Historical Amnesia, Bombast And Double Standards
by Jim Miles
Trump’s speech at the UN this morning is one of the best speeches I have heard aimed at an ignorant uninformed audience, essentially his Make America Great Again (MAGA) followers, and his political state handlers. Staying on script from the teleprompters, it was obvious that while many of these ideas were his, most of the writing, indeed probably all of it, was done by someone else.
Afghanistan Again? The American Military’s Repetition-Compulsion Complex
by Ann Jones
Here we go again! Years after most Americans forgot about the longest warthis country ever fought, American soldiers are again being deployed to Afghanistan. For almost 16 years now, at the command of three presidents and a sadly forgettable succession of generals, they have gone round and round like so many motorists trapped on a rotary with no exit. This time their numbers are officially secret, although variously reported to be 3,500 or 4,000, with another 6,000-plus to follow, and unknown numbers after that. But who can trust such figures?
Snowden’s EthiopiaLeaks; Reading Between The Lines

Snowden's EthiopiaLeaks tells a lot. But reading between the lines one thing is clear tiny Eritrea which is reeling under UN sanctions has nothing to do with terrorism.
Courting the Global South: Will Israel Become A UN Security Council Member?
by Dr Ramzy Baroud
There is a great irony in the fact that Israel is seeking a seat at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

It was never spectacular, but the Australian media scape is set to become duller, more contained, and more controlled with changes to the Broadcasting Services Act. In an environment strewn with the corpses of papers and outlets strapped for cash, calls for reforming the media market have been heard across the spectrum.
What Are Washington’s Stakes In The Syrian Conflict?
by Nauman Sadiq
Washington’s interest in the Syrian civil war is partly about ensuring Israel’s regional security and partly it is about doing the bidding of America’s regional Sunni allies: Turkey, Jordan and the Gulf Arab States.
Dialectical Materialism
by Ish N Mishra
The term Dialectical Materialism was not used by Marx himself but by subsequent Marxists to delineate the synthesis of Marx’s critiques of Hegel’s Dialectics, which he called idealist and Feuerbach’s materialism, which he called mechanical or metaphysical. For the first time the term Dialectical Materialism was used by Plekhanov in 1891
Science Court In Bhangar
by Nisha Biswas
For last three years’ residents of Bhangar, mainly from the villages of Khamarait, MachhiBhanga, Tona, Gazipur etc. of Polerhat 2 Panchayet in Bhangar Assembly Constituency are protesting against forceful acquisition of 13.5 Acre of highly fertile, multi-crop land for setting up of a 2×500 MW, 440/220 KV Power Grid substation by PGCIL (Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd).
