Tell Congress: ban the sale and use of bump stocks

VoteVets

There's been a lot of talk about bump stocks in the news the last twenty-four hours since it came to light the Las Vegas mass-murdered used them to turn his weapons into devices that can fire at even higher rates of speed.

Bump stocks turn one weapon of war into an even more deadly weapon of war.

They turn firearms that are able to take out dozens of people in a short time into one that can take out hundreds.

Ronald Reagan had the good sense to ban the sale of new machine guns, making them cost-prohibitive for most.

Bump stocks circumvent those laws, and Congress is right to have a debate and a vote to ban their use.

Sign VoteVets petition, tell Congress: immediately debate and vote on legislation outlawing the use and sale of bump stocks that make weapons of war even more deadly.

As veterans, we know that war is sometimes necessary. But it isn't desirable. Death isn't desirable. We hope and pray our leaders do all they can so that our so that our military doesn't deploy to use these weapons. Likewise, we should hope and pray that our leaders do all they can do to make sure that no one can use these weapons to wipe out Americans here at home.

All my best,
Will Fischer
