One week - the final countdown!

Dear Friend,

Seven days, or about 165 hours from now, polls will open around East Boston. Can you believe it? We've worked so hard and the response to my campaign has been enormous, but my work is not done yet. I could really use two things in this last week to propel me across the finish line to victory next Tuesday:

1. YOU - I am looking for a few new volunteers to join the dedicated army we already have. We have immediate needs for door-knockers, sign-hangers, folders and staplers, and a host of other campaign-y tasks. I cannot underscore this enough - we need YOU!
2. YOUR MONEY - This is always an uncomfortable ask, but more than ever, we need your financial help to get our video ad out to more people -- maybe even on local TV; to send a mailer out; to print more palm cards. East Boston has been so generous already, but we could really use one last influx of cash to send a better Representative to the State House. Every bit counts.

Big Weekend Ahead: Canvassing Sat. and Columbus Day Parade Sun.

You're invited to join us for two important volunteer opportunities this weekend: Saturday - Canvassing! It's "Knocktober": go door to door for Celeste! Meet at 9:30 at campaign HQ, 59 Meridian St. (entrance around back on Paris St.) for a brief training before going out in pairs. Sunday - March with Celeste in the 66th Annual Columbus Day Parade Wear your blue and gold and meet Celeste and team at Suffolk Downs at noon on Sunday for the parade. This is a huge opportunity to promote our candidate to tens of thousands of people, so we need all the support we can get! Hope to see you at one or both of these events!

Help us get to Nov. 4! We have big plans to get Celeste's message out in a number of ways, but we need to raise some more money to do it. Please consider making a donation of any size!

Door-knocking in Eastie for Celeste Myers!

Celeste needs your help to reach thousands of Eastie voters. Can you give an hour or two? We'll meet at 59 Meridian St in East Boston (enter on Paris St., in the rear, and meet on the second floor) at 9:30 for training and instructions, and then head out to canvass the neighborhood throughout the day.
