Skittles? Really? Donald Trump Jr.: FAIL!

Last night the Trump campaign hit a new low. Donald Trump Jr., one of the candidate's sons and a top surrogate, compared refugees to poisoned Skittles in a large bowl.

First of all, as one conservative study indicated, the odds of getting killed by a refugee in a terrorist attack are ridiculously high: more than 1 in 3.6 billion.

But more to the point, refugees are people - not candy. Largely women and children fleeing almost certain death who are all carefully vetted in a long process before being admitted into the country. And even more to the point, this kind of wildly inappropriate and deplorable rhetoric alienates our allies in the war against terrorism.

Veterans and military family members can make Trump pay a price for this racism, and indeed, we must. That's why we have to ask:
