Toyota Prius: What is this doing to our insurance rates?

After the problems with my Toyota, I wondered what other Toyota owners were saying. When reviewing these complaints, it's best to keep in mind that only 13% of people make complaints. There is no indication that Toyota has attempted to correct any of these problems, contact the owners or make appropriate corrections.

That might seem to indicate the available information is merely the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

What is this doing to our insurance rates?

  1. I have a 2012 Toyota Prius Plug In Advanced with the same problem. After three windshields, and what seems to be complete disregard for my safety or satisfaction by Toyota, I submitted a lemon law complaint.

  2. Thank you for sharing because it helps for others to know what TOYOTA's tactics are like.

    Have you resolve your problems?

Did you post your complaints on the NHTSA website and the web site of the Center for Auto Safety for others to review?

I am trying to encourage ALL New Car buyers to do their RESEARCH!
That's the only way to avoid getting stuck with a TOYOTA LEMON!

I don't know about you, but I absolutely LOVED the TOYOTA....until I had problems and realized TOYOTA refuses to repair their vehicles.
