COAL ASH

Before the House left for the August recess, the Republican leadership passed a dangerous bill that would allow polluters to store and dump coal ash, a toxic by-product of burning coal that contains hazards like mercury, lead, and arsenic.
Fortunately, Congressman Paul D. Tonko is speaking out against this bill. Read his opinion piece on the dangers coal ash and the bill pose to our health and the environment: http://bit.ly/1gxH2gC
