NESAA awarded $10K grant for spay/neuter program

In case you missed it:

NESAA awarded $10K grant for spay/neuter program

Grant will fund org's no-exceptions spay/neuter policy here on Cape

The New England Society for Abandoned Animals (NESAA) announced last month that they were awarded a $10,000 grant by the Best Friends Animal Society in partnership with PetSmart Charities.

The funds will be used to support NESAA's goal of 250 targeted feline spay/neuter operations over the next few months, according to an NESAA release.

"This grant means that we can add this low-cost spay/neuter project to our efforts this year to find forever homes for deserving rescued pets," said NESAA Founder & President Deborah Doe. The funding will be a great boost to the organizations no-exceptions spay/neuter policy, according to Doe.

Best Friends Animal Society is a national organization that works with local organizations to build no-kill programs. PetSmart Charities supports programs and organizations that save the lives of homeless pets, raise awareness of companion animal welfare issues and promote healthy relationships between people and pets.

NESAA advocates for, protects and rescues abandoned and abused pets here on Cape Cod. To learn
