Donald Trump has total Twitter meltdown over celebrities boycotting his inauguration
Donald Trump is not happy that he is having such a hard time finding talent to perform on Inauguration Day.
After it became clear that#Donald Trump was going to be the next president, all eyes then turned to what would happen next. As Trump finalizes his cabinet and administration, he's also struggling to book talent to appear on #Inauguration Day.
Trump on Twitter
Increasingly over the last two weeks, reports have circulated that Donald Trump was having trouble finding celebrities to perform at his inauguration ceremony. Names like Celine Dion , Garth Brooks, Elton John, John Legend, and Andrea Bocelli all declined invitations by the Trump transition team. Backlash from millions across social media has played a role in the decision for many artists, who are worried that appearing for the billionaire real estate mogul might hurt their image and career. As seen on his offical #Twitter account on December 22, Trump is lashing out in frustration over the lack of talent that will be appearing.
"The so-called 'A' list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING," Donald Trump tweeted on Thursday night, before adding, "I want the PEOPLE!" Trump's frustration is mounting as he is set to be sworn into office in less than a month, and the top act that has been booked is the Rockettes. The band KISS has also declined, though the Beach Boys have not yet responded.

Growing backlash
While Donald Trump is set to become the 45th President of the United States, only one former president currently living has RSVP'd to the inauguration. Former President Jimmy Carter, a Democrat, will be in attendance, though Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush have not yet responded. Though Trump will be sworn in as the next commander in chief, as many as 100,000 protesters are expected to show up and voice their opposition. Since Election Day, numerous protests have taken place across the United States, with names like filmmaker Michael Moore joining them.

In defense
Donald Trump and his supporters have responded to the growing criticism of the president-elect, blaming the mainstream media and far-left liberals for holding celebrities hostage. Appearing on Fox News earlier this week was conservative firebrand Tomi Lahren, who referred to liberal protesters a "hypocrites" for their reaction.
