ARIZONA TEACHER BONNIE VERNE SAYS IMMIGRANTS SHOULD BE VIOLENTLY KILLED
Arizona teacher Bonnie Verne resigned from Pardes Jewish Day School in the state's town of Scottsdale after news erupted that she had written violent and xenophobic tweets calling for the death of immigrants.
"Why deport? Just kill them," Verne responded to a tweet by Ann Coulter. "Or we can just put a bullet in their head immediately," she added later.

Both tweets have since been deleted, but not before the people of the Internet took screenshots and spread her bigotry around social media.
As can be expected, many were furious, with people leaving one- and two-star reviews on the school’s Facebook page and calling for an investigation and her termination.
The school later released a statement saying that the third-grade teacher, who had taught at the institution for 12 years, resigned.
"[Verne] deeply regrets having in recent days made comments using her personal social media account that were inappropriate, offensive and unbefitting of a Pardes teacher," the statement reads.
The statement also noted that, while it supported Verne's freedom of expression, the comments she made "have no place in our school."
Facebook users have since been leaving five-star reviews on the school's page.
