NATIONAL LAW JOURNAL

A MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR

The Trump White House announced its three nominees for U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Wednesday evening, in yet another jab at Democrats over judicial nominations between the Trump administration and Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris, the home state senators for the vacancies. Litigation reporter Ellis Kim has the full story. Next, amid a series of claims alleging the Trump administration unlawfully forced federal employees to report for duty without pay, along with looming concerns about the possibility of another shutdown, a U.S. District Judge has plans to take swift action if the government does shut down again in February, Erin Mulvaney reports.
