This is the seat that JOHN MCCAIN held.
It deserves to be filled by a VETERAN with a respected reputation like MARK KELLY.
Last quarter, Martha McSally raised more money than ANY Republican running for U.S. Senate. This poll result will only kick her fundraising into a higher gear. Help Mark Kelly fight back. Contribute today:
Here we go. New poll out of Arizona. And I think you’re going to like it:
Predictive Insights - August 2019
Mark Kelly (D): 46%
Martha McSally (R): 41%
Mark Kelly (D): 46%
Martha McSally (R): 41%
This is going to be the most competitive, and probably the closest race of 2020.
And now Mark Kelly has the lead.
If we can win this race, it will go a long way toward flipping the Senate. And VoteVets will have a LOT to say about the outcome. But we can’t do that alone:
This poll makes Mark Kelly a target. Republicans will do and spend what it takes to win this race. But if we keep having Mark’s back, he’s going to win.
If you can chip in for him today, it’d go a long way.
All our best,
The Team at VoteVets
CONTRIBUTE2020 United States Senate special election in Arizona
The 2020 United States Senate special election in Arizona will be held on November 3, 2020. Following the death in office of incumbent Republican U.S. Senator John McCain on August 25, 2018, Governor Doug Ducey was required by Arizona law to appoint a Republican[1] to fill the vacant seat.[2] In September 2018, Ducey appointed former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl to fill McCain's seat until after the Special Election of November 2020, which will determine who will serve the remainder of the term until January 2023. Kyl did not complete his interim appointment, and resigned on December 31, 2018.[3] On December 18, 2018, Ducey announced that outgoing U.S. Representative Martha McSally would be appointed to fill the seat following Kyl's resignation.[4] McSally was sworn in as Arizona's junior senator on January 3, 2019. She had been the Republican nominee for Arizona’s Class I U.S. Senate seat in 2018, but lost that race to Democrat Kyrsten Sinema.
