The town of Provincetown seeks qualified candidates for the position of Police Chief. Provincetown is a diverse community with a population of approximately 3,300 in the off-season and 30,000-60,000 visitors during the summer. The Police Chief is appointed by the town manager and supervises a full-time staff of 17 sworn officers, plus additional police dispatchers and civilian support staff.
