Do they price records based upon who asks for them?

$115.00????

Did you request a copy of "War and Peace"??

Ahh...! The plot thickens! But not to bore everyone, I am attempting to simplify the plot.

In all, about 22 copies were produced.

One could make an argument, as I have with the Public Records Division, that the excessive cost was/is intended to discourage disclosure of documents that should be in the public domain.

Documents intended to provide information to the public as deliberately concealed. And some of them were witheld from the Finance Committee. Wonder why?

Probably because now most town departments are requesting approximately $3,000.00 for hard copy law books. Maybe they will really need them. The town is still SERIOUSLY IN DEBIT. CORRECT?
