Indications are that the PTWS,

located at http://www.middleborough.com/
.
incidentally hosted in Town Hall, is up and running with no explanation.

Maybe some computer geek can explain why when I type in "https," I come up with FVS318, which can be purchased from Amazon.com for about $100. (Actually, some can be purchased for ~$25.)
.
So, is the best we can do to protect the Town's computer system a $100 gizmo?

And maybe some computer geek can explain why the PTWS that used to get the

In case you were wondering what the Selectmen's Agenda was for May 11, 2009, check here. Notice that the Town Manager is listed as reporting on the progress of the PTWS. Is something being hidden from voters?)

.
How have we improved?
.
Marsha, please prepare your notes to tell us all about TRANSPARENCY, just like you told us town vehicles weren't going out for repairs after the Finance Committee disproved you.
.
.
Many of the comments I have received (and not posted) have informed me of what detractors and critics have offered. It might be wise for those who condemn the messenger to examine the MESSAGE. Other towns don't operate like this.

Stayed tuned!
