TransCanada gas pipeline exploded last night near Otterburne, just south of Winnipeg. No injury reports, five houses evacuated.
"Thought it was the neighbours' house or something like that," said eyewitness Tyler Holigroski. "I thought there was a fire, but the way it lit the sky, it was like the sun coming up. The only thing is it was flashing. It would get brighter, get dim, get brighter, go dim. It lit up the whole sky here for half an hour. The sky's still glowing, actually."

I apologize to all sane gun owners but it makes me sick to think you can't count on going out any longer without risk to your life. Due to people with guns. Period. Thank you, NRA, you suck.

Mass shootings are on the rise—and ordinary citizens with guns don't stop them, no matter what the NRA says http://bit.ly/12UD31K
Trains filled with Bakken crude oil that have been rolling into New York recently are basically bombs on rails.
Send a letter to the New York Department of Environmental Conservation urging it to rescind its recently approved permit for crude oil transport and instead conduct a full review.
It's not too late to put the brakes on these trains before the state of New York plays host to an oil bomb.
