DESPERATION THE ONLY THING THAT MOTIVATES CONTRIBUTIONS? It's as though somehow
the readers think RSN is worth preserving, but not worth helping to grow strong.
Can you see the futility in that? No we are not “desperate.” We are close to
finishing the November funding drive, and it should be a hopeful time. There’s a
sense here that if we don’t scream bloody murder we won’t get any funding.
