DO NOT CHASE. Six month lab mix goes by the name of Penny. Last seen on 1/17. She's about 30 pounds. She is a Yellow Lab mix. She has a scar on a belly and a green tattoo to signify she is spayed. Her fur on her left front paw is a little thin because that's where they gave her the anesthesia....

This little Patriots fan is still looking for its owner. He was brought to the police station on January 12 and was found on Sumner St. He is going to be watching tonight's Patriots game from Stoughton Animal Control, (781)344-1294, unless someone can help us identify his owner.

LEO - I was rescued from the outside, so thankful, these nights have been cold and harsh!
The kind woman who rescued me brought me to the vet for my medical visit. She wanted to bring me back home, but the resident feline was not happy that I had come into their lives. I am now in foster care, hoping that soon I will have my own family. I am sweet and friendly. I love to rub against legs and follow you where ever you are headed. Being picked up sometimes gets me worried, so I would prefer a home with no small children. At my medical visit I tested positive for Fiv, I can sill live a long and healthy life. I need no special care, just a lot of love and TLC.You can learn/read about Fiv at the Best Friends Animal Society website,http://bestfriends.org/feline-immunodeficiency-virus.aspx. If you would like to meet me or have questions, please email my foster mom at hollya1475@yahoo.com I am not at the shelter.

GMO Free USA with Inderjeet Singh Lalli and 5 others
Russian President Putin has signed a GMO Labeling Liability Law that imposes fines of up to $5,300 on any businesses that fail to properly label genetically modified food ingredients in their products. In 2014, President Putin said that Russia must protect its citizens from overconsumption of products containing genetically modified organisms. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev followed this with a statement that Russia has no intention to import GMOs, however there are still large quantities of GMO foods being imported in to Russia. Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fyodorov believes that Russia must remain a GMO-free country. At a meeting of deputies representing rural areas organized by United Russia, he said that the government will not “poison their citizens.” We may not agree with Russia on many things, but they have it right on GMOs.
