NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- The driver of a car that crashed into the Cameron Cove Apartments on Five Notch Road was suffering from a medical condition, according to North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
The driver of the SUV was able to walk away, uninjured.
The car left the road and crashed into a retaining wall before flipping upside into the building. The accident happened just before 10 Wednesday night near Georgia Ave.
Residents were not evacuated, although the building will have to be inspected.
It took crews nearly three hours to get the car out, using a tow truck, since the car was completely vertical.
It is unlikely the driver will face any charges, according to North Augusta Department of Public Safety.
