How sad that Americans in any city feel the need to record encounters with police....just in case.....
It's also a sad commentary that police in certain communities continue to kill unarmed civilians knowing they MAY be recorded.

How the Shooting Occurred
A video of a fatal shooting by police officers in San Antonio last week appears to show a man putting his hands up before they fired.

The officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call on Friday morning when they approached the man, Gilbert Flores. In the video, he is seen running shirtless in the front yard of a single-story home.

After the officers surround him, Mr. Flores appears to put both hands up. A view of his left arm is blocked by a pole. Moments later, two shots can be heard and he falls to the ground.
The television station said the video was provided by Michael Thomas, a student at the University of the Incarnate Word, a private Catholic school in San Antonio and Alamo Heights. Mr. Thomas told the station he recorded the episode because of recent shootings involving the police.
