Why “Supply And Demand” Doesn’t Work For Oil
By Gail Tverberg

Perhaps the most serious near-term problem from continued low prices is the likelihood of rising debt defaults. These debt defaults can be expected to have a very adverse impact on banks, pension plans, and insurance companies. Governments would likely have little ability to bail out these organizations because of the widespread nature of the problem and also because of their own high debt levels. As a result, the losses incurred by financial institutions seem likely be passed on to businesses and individual citizens, in one way or another
Daesh - The Disastrous Consequences Of Disastrous Policies
By Mousumi Roy

First Obama created ISIS out of the cesspool he left in Libya, reducing Africa's wealthiest nation to rubble, because Gaddafi was too independent of Washington's dictates. Then he lied about Assad because Assad was also too independent. Obama helped fund, train, arm and support ISIS terrorist brigades and their affiliates - along with his coalition of terror, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel, Qatar, Emirates - even as he publicly pretended to be fighting them in Iraq and Syria. It wasn't until Russia entered Syria and wasted ISIS, that Obama and his fellow terrorist sponsors flew into a panic
Understanding The Reality Behind The Parris Attack
By Sachinderpal Pali
http://www.countercurrents.org/pali241115.htm
There are various forms of struggles, but i won’t support this heinous form of struggle which led to the killing of innocent people. It is heinous, shameful, cruel and brutal and it need to be condemned in every aspect. The peoples’ struggle should be against the anti-people governments (especially the corporates which run these governments) but not against the people itself. Rather this kind of shameful act will compel the governments to led further attack on Islamic people in the developed countries and as well as general people in the third world countries and it will create more Islamophobia in the world again. Let expose and fight against the these both types of attacks whether they are done by the religious orthodox people or done by the imperialists and anti-people governments
Paris: A Sense Of Proportion Is Urgently Needed
By John Scales Avery
http://www.countercurrents.org/avery241115.htm
With the extremely important Climate Conference COP21 starting in the same city, Paris, on 30 November, we urgently need to regain our lost sense of proportion. Is terrorism a great danger to human civilization and the biosphere? Or is it something very small, that has been blow up to a completely disproportionate size by our perfideous mass media in order to sell wars, sell weapons, to undermine civil liberties, and to disenfranchize ordinary citizens?
This Thanksgiving, Let’s Say ‘No Thanks’
To The Tyranny Of The American Police State
By John W. Whitehead
http://www.countercurrents.org/whitehead241115.htm
This Thanksgiving finds us saddled with a government that is a far cry from George Washington’s vision of a government that would be a blessing to all the people. Instead, as the following shows, the U.S. government has become a warring empire, governed by laws that are rash, unjust and unconstitutional, policed by government agents who are corrupt, hypocritical and abusive, a menace to its own people, and the antithesis of everything for which Washington hoped
America's Awesome Corruption — Especially In The Military
By Eric Zuesse
http://www.countercurrents.org/zuesse241115.htm
On November 16th, the great journalist on international strategic and military issues, F. William Engdahl, headlined at journal-neo, “Do We Really Want a New World War With Russia?” and he documented that, with military expenditures one-tenth of America's, Russia achieves at least parity with the U.S. in terms of war-fighting capability. It's a remarkable article, even though it actually brings together into one place the recent disclosures in many media, regarding vital technologies where Russia far outpaces American capabilities. Of course, that's what's necessary to do in order to document the extent of Russia's areas of clear military superiority
GMO: A Detour From Naturale
By Aayush Anand
http://www.countercurrents.org/anand241115.htm
As recently as 2010, India was known for its anti-GMO policies. It all changed with the election of Prime Minister NarendraModi. In the past year, eight Indian states aligned with Modi’sBharatiyaJanata Party have approved field trials of GM crops, between them allowing tests that include transgenic rice, cotton, maize (corn), mustard, brinjal and chickpea. The seemingly momentous decision went mostly uncovered by the large media houses of india, adding further to the opacity in pretext of GMO. To be transparent the biggest fears about GE crops and animals are their potential to provoke allergic reactions and the transfer to humans of antibiotic-resistant properties of GMO
An Unfulfilled Dream: Mysuru's “Wish-List” Airport
By S.G.Vombatkere
http://www.countercurrents.org/vombatkere241115.htm
There appears little justification for GoK to insist on operating – and perhaps also extending and upgrading at enormous cost – an airport which will become almost redundant when the doubled and electrified Bengaluru-Mysuru rail link can provide far better connectivity for passengers at Kempegowda Airport to and from Mysuru than Mandakalli can provide
