Saudi Arabia blackmailing US over 9/11 bill, which holds Saudis responsible for terror attacks - report | 16 April 2016 | Saudi Arabia appears to be blackmailing the US, saying it would sell off American assets worth a 12-digit figure sum in dollars if Congress passes a bill allowing the Saudi government [aka ISIS on steroids] to be held responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The warning was delivered by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir last month during a visit to Washington, the New York Times reported. He said his country would sell up to 750 billion in US treasury securities and other assets before the bill puts them in jeopardy...Possible links between the perpetrators of the attack and Saudi Arabia may be hiding in 28 classified pages of the 2002 congressional report on 9/11, which allegedly describe how Saudi Arabian nationals with links to the government financially assisted the 19 hijackers who flew airplanes into World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

9/11 families hit Obama for 'siding with Saudi Arabia,' want secret report declassified | 18 April 2016 | President Barack Obama is facing increased pressure due to a renewed effort to make a secret Congressional report public that may describe links between Saudi Arabia and the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. Over the past week, families of 9/11 victims have criticized President Obama because of reports stating that his administration is lobbying Congress to block a bill that would allow terror victims to sue foreign governments connected to attacks on American soil. The criticism comes as Obama prepares to travel to Riyadh for the fourth time in his presidency. One 9/11 widow, Mindy Kleinberg, told the New York Times "it's stunning to think that our government would back the Saudis over its own citizens."

Obama Administration Lobbies Congress to Block Bill Holding Saudi Arabia Responsible for 9/11 Attacks | 15 April 2016 | Saudi Arabia has told the Obama administration and members of Congress that it will sell off hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of American assets held by the kingdom if Congress passes a bill that would allow the Saudi government to be held responsible in American courts for any role in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. The Obama administration has lobbied Congress to block the bill's passage, according to administration officials and congressional aides from both parties, and the Saudi threats have been the subject of intense discussions in recent weeks between lawmakers and officials from the State Department and the Pentagon.

US Sending Troops and Apache Choppers to Iraq --The President's decision authorises the increase of US forces in Iraq from 3,870 to 4,087. | 18 April 2016 | The US has agreed to send more than 200 additional troops to Iraq along with Apache helicopters to aid in the fight against Islamic State. The new force will consist mostly of Army special operators, US defence officials said. The remaining troops will be made up of trainers, security forces and maintenance teams for the Apaches, the officials told the AP news agency...The addition of Apache attack helicopters for the first time will provide forces on the ground with precision fire during the fight.

At least 28 dead, 327 injured in Taliban attack on government security agency in Kabul | 19 April 2016 | Armed militants in Afghanistan stormed a key government security agency in the capital Tuesday morning as part of a coordinated assault, killing at least 28 people and wounding more than 320. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, which included a suicide car bombing. It appeared to have targeted an agency similar to the U.S. Secret Service, providing personal protection for high-ranking government officials. Sediq Sediqqi, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said during a press conference that two militants were involved in the attack.

Explosion heard in central Kabul, smoke seen near US embassy | 19 April 2016 | An explosion rocked central Kabul early on Tuesday and a thick plume of black smoke could be seen rising from the vicinity of the sprawling US embassy in the Afghan capital, Reuters witnesses said, but there was no immediate report of casualties. Warning sirens blared out from the embassy compound, which is also close to the headquarters of the main NATO-led mission [sic] in Afghanistan.

U.S. sends nine Yemeni prisoners from Guantanamo Bay to Saudi Arabia | 17 April 2016 | The United States on Saturday transferred nine Yemeni men to Saudi Arabia from the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo, including an inmate who had been on a hunger strike since 2007, under a long-sought diplomatic deal between Washington and Riyadh, U.S. officials said. The transfer, which took place just days before President Barack Obama's visit to Saudi Arabia for a summit of Gulf Arab allies, marked the latest step in his final push to close the controversial detention center at the U.S. naval base in Cuba before he leaves office in January 2017...There are now 80 prisoners at Guantanamo, most held without charge or trial for more than a decade, drawing international condemnation.

Safety checks faked at German nuclear power stations | 15 April 2016 | German energy giants EnBW and RWE have admitted that employees did not carry out routine safety readings on equipment measuring radioactivity at their nuclear power stations, but pretended they had. Both workers were immediately barred from the premises and then dismissed. Regional public broadcaster SWR, which broke the story, reported on Thursday that EnBW's power station in Philippsburg, Baden-Württemberg, had been shut down by the state Environment Ministry until a mandatory inquiry was completed. RWE's nuclear power station in Biblis, Hesse, has been shut down since 2011, but radioactivity levels are still being monitored there.

The nearby community of Hockley got pummeled with 17 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott declared a state of disaster for nine counties in and around the Houston area. Houston deluged, five reported dead in Texas floods | 19 April 2016 | Torrential rainfall totaling 18 inches (46 cm) pummeled Houston on Monday, causing floods that were believed responsible for five deaths and that snarled transport and turned roads into lakes in the fourth most-populous U.S. city. More than 1,000 homes were flooded in Harris County, which contains Houston, and there were more than 1,000 water rescues as scores of neighborhoods and roads were hit by rushing water. "This is the most I have ever seen in the state of Texas," Governor Greg Abbott said of the rescues at a news conference, where he declared a state of disaster in nine Texas counties...Abbott also said U.S. Internal Revenue Service officials allowed extensions for taxpayers in flooded areas who missed filing deadlines on Monday.

The rescue operation in the worst-affected region, Kumamoto prefecture, continued overnight, despite deteriorating weather conditions, with strong winds and heavy rain. Ecuador Earthquake: Death Toll Hits Nearly 500 as Victims Rescued From Rubble | 19 April 2016 | Earthquake-stricken Ecuador faced the grim reality of recovering more bodies than survivors as rescue efforts moved into a third day on Tuesday and the death toll climbed to nearly 500. There have been desperate scenes as rescuers and family members searched for survivors, often with bare hands. Teams from Switzerland, Spain and several Latin American countries have arrived to join the search effort. More than 2,000 people were injured in the quake, Ecuador's most powerful in decades, which hit its Pacific coast.

Tsunami waves of up to 1m possible in Ecuador after 7.8 quake | 17 April 2016 | A strong 7.8 earthquake has struck Ecuador's coastline, triggering a possible tsunami wave warning along some 300 miles of the coasts of both Ecuador and Colombia. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center forecast waves of up to one meter above the tide level. Initially reported as 7.4 by USGS, the earthquake was centered at a shallow depth of 10 km (6 miles) some 107 miles (173 km) west northwest of the capital Quito. Some 10 minutes prior to the 7.8 jolt, the same area was hit by a 4.8 magnitude quake.

Doctors Who Discovered Cancer Enzymes in Vaccines All Found Murdered --Nagalase prevents vitamin D being produced in the body. | 17 Feb 2016 | Not long ago, Neon Nettle reported on the epidemic of doctors being murdered, most of which were in Florida. The scientists all shared a common trait, they had all discovered that nagalase enzyme protein was being added to vaccines which were then administrated to humans. Nagalase prevents vitamin D from being produced in the body, which is the body's main defence to naturally kill cancer cells. According to TheBigRiddle dot com: Nagalase is a protein that's also created by all cancer cells. This protein is also found in very high concentrations in autistic children. And they're PUTTING it in our vaccines! This prevents the body from utilizing the vitamin D necessary to fight cancer and prevent autism. Nagalase disables the immune system. It's also known to cause Type 2 diabetes. So basically...they weren't killing these doctors because they had found the cure to cancer or were successfully treating autism...they're killing them because these doctors had been researching and had the evidence that the vaccines they're injecting our precious children with are CAUSING our current cancer and autism crisis.

U.S. top court appears unlikely to revive Obama immigration plan | 18 April 2016 | President Barack Obama's bid to save his plan to spare millions of immigrants in the country illegally from deportation and give them work permits ran into trouble on Monday at the U.S. Supreme Court in a case testing the limits of presidential power. The court, with four conservative justices and four liberals, seemed divided along ideological lines during 90 minutes of arguments in the case brought by 26 states led by Texas that sued to block Obama's unilateral 2014 executive action that bypassed Congress. A 4-4 decision would be a grim defeat for Obama because it would uphold lower court rulings that threw out his action last year and doom his quest to revamp a U.S. immigration cheap labor for corporations policy he calls broken.

More than 900 'Democracy Spring' protesters arrested in D.C. --More arrests are expected Monday, the final day of protests | 17 April 2016 | Police have calmly arrested hundreds of people in Washington, D.C., protesting the influence of money in politics during the last week...U.S. Capitol Police have arrested more than 900 protesters through Saturday. NBC/WSJ Poll: Clinton's National Lead Down to Two Points | 18 April 2016 | Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders nationally by just two points in the Democratic presidential race, according to results from a brand-new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. Clinton gets support from 50 percent of Democratic primary voters, while Sanders gets support from 48 percent. That's down from Clinton's nine-point advantage a month ago, 53 percent to 44 percent. The national poll, however, comes as Clinton is viewed as the favorite in Tuesday's Democratic primary in New York -- and as Clinton leads Sanders in the [rigged] delegate race and in popular votes.

Donald Trump Holds 29-Point Lead Before New York Primary, Poll Shows | 15 April 2016 | Donald Trump is poised to run away with next week's Republican primary in New York, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC New York/Marist poll shows. The New York businessman leads his closest rival, [mathematically-eliminated] Ohio Gov. John Kasich, by 29 percentage points among likely Republican primary voters, 54% to 25%, the poll finds. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz [Zodiac Ted] is a distant third, as the top choice of 16% of likely Republican voters. The results for Mr. Trump mirror a surveyreleased earlier this week by the Journal, NBC News and Marist that also showed the Republican front-runner with 54% support.

Presidential hopefuls battle for New York on eve of primaries | 18 April 2016 | Democratic and Republican candidates engaged in a final frenzy of campaigning on Monday, one day before New York state voters render their verdict and potentially bring some order to the chaotic 2016 presidential race. Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump, the national front-runners, were favored to win their respective primaries in the state that both call home. New York's primaries are expected to be the most decisive in decades in the selection of the Republican and Democratic candidates for November's general election. The question for Trump is whether he will make a clean sweep of all 95 Republican delegates at stake by earning the majority of votes in all 27 congressional districts in the state.

State will not prosecute Donald Trump's campaign manager | 14 April 2016 | Palm Beach County Florida State Attorney David Aronberg will not prosecute Donald Trump's campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, Aronberg announced Thursday. "As state attorney I have made the decision that this office will not be filing charges against Corey Lewandowski for battery," Aronberg said at a news conference. A former reporter [sic] for Breitbart, Michelle Fields, sought charges against Lewandowski after an incident in March where she said Lewandowski pulled her away from Trump as she was trying to ask him a question...After reviewing the evidence in the case, the state attorney said he doesn't feel there is enough evidence to pursue criminal charges.
