Dear Friend,
This is a historical juncture in the history of India. It’s time India must ask itself if it must continue to exist as a federal state or ‘cow down’ to the designs and manoeuvrings of the fascist Sangh Parivar. It is time some one must stand up right now and ask the right questions. Pinarayi Vijayan is the right candidate to do it. If he misses this ‘Golden Opportunity’, he’ll have to rue later in life like Jyoti Basu. Morever, he’ll have to regret that he let down India in this historical juncture. India stands at a crossroads. It’s time to choose the path. One way leads to a fascist ‘Cowistan’, the other way leads to a federalist state which the builders of modern India envisioned. It’s time to choose.

Beef Ban And The Fascist Assault On Society
by Sally Dugman
If it looks like fascism, smells like fascism, feels like fascism and tastes like fascism, then it is so. In this case, the taste is fascist. After all, people are not allowed to taste beef and must follow the ideological rulings of one religious group of people. Please continue to rise up against ugly government ways. It does sometimes help as our own uprising in the USA against the Vietnam War demonstrated.
Trump’s Visit To Israel: How Palestine Disappeared From US Media Coverage
by Dr Ramzy Baroud
Israeli media, which is often more critical of the Israeli government than US media ever dare, needed to keep up with its ‘democratic’ tradition. But Trump’s groveling also gave them little room for criticism. The often-impulsive Trump, this time stuck to the script and followed his repeatedly rehearsed speech and media comments to the letter.

A Litmus Test For Academia
Co-written by Rachel Olivia O’Connor. Valleria Ruselli and Annapurna Tosca Sriramarcel
Of the issues which are totally ignored, for all practical purposes, there’s one that we can spotlight here which — if not addressed post haste — stands to take us over the precipice. That is that if we want to protect our environment , we must talk about population size and growth and actually do something about it.
Life Cycle

I start becoming greedy
Sucking milk from a dead mother’s body
Mired in personal ambitions
And socio- cultural clashes
With the chanting of time

India’s Cyber Vulnerability And PSUs: Government Must Retain Control Of Critical Sectors
by S G Vombatkere
Production of critical defence needs is not a matter of business strategy. It is an imperative of national strategy. National sovereignty cannot be subordinated to efficiency of PSUs. If a PSU is deemed inefficient, it is government’s responsibility to set it right in the national interest. Losing control over policy and production of critical hardware and software through disinvestment or privatization of PSUs as business strategy, is clearly not in the national interest. GoI and State governments need to stop looking at security through the narrow tunnel of business and economic growth, as at present.
